Presently working as Director of Crimson a consulting company in clinical research for project management, auditing and monitoring Monitoring Bioequivalence Studies and Clinical Trial Projects. Auditing CRO’s, Pharma companies and clinical research sites

Dr Mary has expertise of working with various Oncology projects, other diseases conditions and bioavailability/Monitoring Bioequivalence Studies for USFDA EMEA, UKMHRA, TGA, BRAZIL TURKISH markets and catering to various European and Indian clients.

She is also as Dean cum Executive Director of CRIMSON a clinical research Institute which impart training, courses and work shops for the Industry and students.

Having an overall experience of more than 24 years in the field of Clinical Research Industry as a CEO, Assistant Director, and Manager of various CRO’s and multinational company.

As a CEO of Mascot Spin Control Pvt. Ltd a cosmetic CRO (2010-2015) a joint venture with a French CRO Spincontol group, she was instrumental in setting up Mascot Spin control right from the establishment of the company. Mascot Spin control is a global cosmetic CRO catering to cosmetic companies globally for analysis of various types of cosmetic , dermatological products for claims substantiations.

During her tenure at Mascot Spin control, she was involved in organizational structuring, recruitment, business development, setting up Systems and marketing activities, Planning & Budgeting, team building & motivation of employees.

She was the study Director for various cosmetic, dermatological projects for global clients and completed more than 200 projects.

She was also successful in achieving ISO 9001 for Mascot Spin control in one year’s time since operational. Next consecutive three ISO audits she achieved no non compliances during the audits. It was one of the leading established global CRO in Mumbai.

As a CEO of Ace Biomed (2003-2006) she was instrumental in setting up Ace Biomed (contract research organization) right from the establishment of the company. During her tenure she was involved in organizational structuring, business development & marketing activities, Planning & Budgeting, team building & motivation of Ace Biomed employees.

She has also been successful in achieving NABL accreditation, EMEA, MHRA and Turkish approvals for Ace Biomed.

She was also successful in acquiring THE BEST CRO Award for ACE Biomed systems, Ethics, Integrity and Service to Global Pharmaceutical Industry.

Having worked for multinational company PLIVA (CROATIA company) as a Manager and Head for coordinating, managing and auditing various international BA/BE projects, she has also worked closely with the regulatory departments for the submission and approval of the projects to USFDA, EMEA, TGA and Canadian authorities.

She was awarded the best Manager award from India for successful approval of Europeans Dossier Submissions of various drug molecules.

Dr. Mary has worked with an Indian contract research organization Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Laboratory one of the oldest CRO in India (30 years) at various positions right from an Analyst, to Scientific Officer, Technical Manager and Assistant Director. She has also been Co-Investigator for conducting bioavailability and Monitoring Bioequivalence Studies of pharmaceutical preparations and has conducted more than 500 projects.

Dr. Mary has also been appointed as a Lead Assessor (1996) by the Government of India and by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration for auditing various types of Laboratories in India. She audited more than 50 testing and calibration laboratories.

She was also successful in acquiring THE BEST CRO Award for TDML for their systems, Ethics, Integrity and Service to Pharmaceutical Industry. She has also been successful in achieving NABL accreditation

Dr Mary Francis has various papers and articles to her credit in widely read Journals, newspapers and websites. She has been and continues to be a speaker in various seminars, workshops and conferences. She is a visiting faculty in many Diploma programmes conducted all over India.

She is a member of BARQA, (British Association of Research Quality Assurance), Member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Member of Federation of Federation of Indian Export Organization, Member of Indian Drug Manufacturing Association, Member of Pharmaceutical Export Promotional Council, and Member of International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.

She holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Bombay University.

She was awarded the RASHTRIYA UDYOG RATNA AWARD IN DECEMBER 2007 for the contribution towards the clinical research Industry,
